Genuis Time Car

Video of Oliver and Baxter's Genuis Time car that they made from parts they found at home. This was a wonderful project to watch the boys plan, create and problem solve. They showed a real Growth Mindset while working on the car, well done boys.

Genuis Time

On Thursdays in Room 7, you will find Genius Time in full swing. This is where the students drive their own learning by choosing the topic/project they want to learn about. Some of the highlights include go-carts being made, stop motion animation movies, lemon powdered toy cars and clay dragons being made. Well done Room 7.

Room 7 Flax Flowers

Today we made flax flowers with Room 1. We learnt how to cut them properly, how to say a prayer in Te Reo to say thank you for using them and how to make them.  Some of us struggled at first but we showed a Growth Mindset and we were all successful in the end. Well done Rooms 1 & 7.

Today we had a wonderful play The Fairest of them All.......was funny, hilarious and we all laughed alot. Thanks to the actors they were great. Mr Mac even got on the stage.
